This summer get your produce from a farmer you can really trust.  Namely, yourself.  With a working share from Upland Hills CSA, you’ll work along with the rest of the working members tending to the CSA's crops.  We have five acres of garden so we need everyone to pitch in.  This is a wonderful family-friendly way to enjoy the outdoors, make new friends, and bring home produce that you know is fresh.

During the 2020 season, we have four different membership options:

Working 8-week share: $275 (you pick up a full share at the farm every other week)
Non-working 8-week share:  $350 (you pick up a full share at the farm every other week)
Working 16-week share:  $450 (you pick up a full share at the farm each week)
Non-working 16-week share:  $600 (you pick up a full share at the farm each week)

If you are interested in joining our CSA, please contact Ken at uhcsa@uplandhillscsa.org or (248) 693-0432.

Pick-up days/times
  • Working and non-working share pick-up times are Saturdays at noon or Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2pm-8pm.
  • The application form will ask you to choose a pick-up day.

Notes on work days/volunteer days
  • The CSA will organize a few work days/volunteer days, with the express wish that all members (working and non-working shares) will attend. There will be "start of the season planting" Saturdays, as well as mid-season "weeding weekends" and an "end of season clean-up" day.
  • For the CSA to work as the community it has become, and to keep professional costs to a minimum, the CSA really needs your help out there.
  • We love good, healthy food but we also love good community!  Work days/volunteer days are a lot of fun and are a great opportunity to make new friends.

"Working share" work requirements
  • 8 week working shares owe 22 hours of work during the season; 16 week working shares owe 38 hours of work.
  • Working share members that pick-up on Saturday should work 10 am - noon on Saturday.
  • Working share members that pick-up on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday can arrange their working hours with the garden manager, generally between 9 am and 2 pm Monday to Friday.
  • Volunteer hours do not contribute to working hours.
