Daiga Nixon ran our kids gardening program in 2015.  She created a newsletter last July that described the programs that she did with the children.  Programs like making stepping stones and sailboats, visiting the farm animals, blowing bubbles and visiting the playground.  Please click here to view the picture-filled newsletter!
Our CSA children's program offers children the opportunity to come and learn about the earth, the growing season, and farm animals in a child–centered setting while parents are working in the garden. We offer a wide variety of activities for children including building scarecrows, planting, harvesting, data collecting, direct interaction with farm animals, playing in the dirt and so much more. This program is managed and run by a few of our CSA management team members with backgrounds in education and childhood development.
